Now that my anthropology test is over with I can smile again! Shew! My brain is not the sponge it used to be, more like a leaky bucket! I want to thank Tina at The Creative Nerd, for the You Make Me Smile award! Usually, I just make people groan and roll their eyes!

Poor Weenie is always cold, even in the summer you’ll find her burrowed under a blanket. When it’s cold or rainy she makes a flying run out the dog door, does her business and is back inside and buried in her covers before you can say Jack Russell, (this could be because if she dallies she will return and find her bed occupied by a Jack Russell)
Hey! Where’s my blanket?

I sure hope Wishbone doesn’t get in my bed….

Weenie styl’in in her new sweater!

Reason # 1: You can sneak them into places they otherwise couldn’t go. I used to take my three pound Pommie Kibble, to the movies–I’m such an outlaw! Kibble also rode in my front-pack all the way through Mammoth Cave, she peeked out a couple of times but never made a sound until the bats stirred, they may have hurt her ears. I’m pretty sure the tour guide thought I had Tourette Syndrome or something, (did that lady just growl…?) but no one ever figured out I had a little stow away! Little Brownie loves to travel, if she comes across her travel bag, she’ll get in it whether we’re going somewhere or not!

Today I gave Ginger a puppy cut. Her fur was getting too long and she was becoming a stick-tight and cocklebur magnet. Every time the kids take her to the lake she comes back covered in them. She was very well behaved throughout the process, just got a little antsy when I trimmed around her ears. She doesn’t like having them cleaned either, or her nails trimmed…on the other hand, neither do any of the other dogs.
After the haircut I gave her a bath. And then she gave me a bath. You can pretty much tell from the pictures what she thought about the whole process. Poor mistreated pup!

The Fletcher Dog Nutcracker has a decidedly vintage look. It’s crafted of heavy cast iron, with a lacquer finish to make it food safe. The handle which operates the dog’s mouth is elegantly embossed with the famous Ralph Lauren logo. An interesting piece that’s sure to get lots of comments at your next gathering!
Measures 10 1/2″ by four 1/2″ wide.
