HI! My name is Jo. I’ve been married since 1980 to a wonderful and very patient man (Charles) and I have three grown, exceedingly brilliant, talented and beautiful daughters…one of which I call upon regularly to help me with all the technical idiosyncrasies of my computer and this blog. I am 47 and I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up. I’ve been an antique doll doctor for about 15 years, (note; the dolls are antique, not me) I’m a MAJOR dog lover, presently we have seven. My husband and I and our furry friends rattle around in a Victorian house which we’ve been restoring for the past nine years, I’ve gotten pretty good at plastering, wallpapering and stripping wood, but I figure I’ll be collecting social security before the house is finally done. We live in southern Illinois, in a small town of about 6000, where I am considered a bit of an eccentric. Go figure. My other blogs are mad doll doctor and Fickle Food
