Reason # 1: You can sneak them into places they otherwise couldn’t go. I used to take my three pound Pommie Kibble, to the movies–I’m such an outlaw! Kibble also rode in my front-pack all the way through Mammoth Cave, she peeked out a couple of times but never made a sound until the bats stirred, they may have hurt her ears. I’m pretty sure the tour guide thought I had Tourette Syndrome or something, (did that lady just growl…?) but no one ever figured out I had a little stow away! Little Brownie loves to travel, if she comes across her travel bag, she’ll get in it whether we’re going somewhere or not!

Are there certain words you have to spell around your dog? Words like VET or BATH? Amazing how fast the room clears when either of these words are uttered around our house! Brownie here, particularly hates going to the vet and generally finds getting bathed or brushed, her toenails trimmed or her ears cleaned to be a hair-raising experience.

This frisky five year old loves walks on the beach, sitting by a fire, or curling up on a good book. Her favorite color is; whatever mom is wearing. Her favorite treat is; Frosty Paws. She’s a natural redhead, but there’s no temper here! Twinkie loves everybody, but she especially loves Brownie, her best bud. When they aren’t playing together they can be found napping together. Twinkie is four pounds of pure fun!

We live in an old Victorian house and sometimes when I take a bath or shower I get this strange, disquieting feeling that I’m not quite alone…you know the feeling, like you’re being watched, observed by some ominous, unseen force…when I finally can’t stand it any longer and slowly pull back the shower curtain, this is what I see…

Meet Brownie. She has a weird, all consuming passion for bathwater, and her favorite method of delivery is straight off the fingers. There’s no point trying to ignore her, she’ll just hippity-hop up and down and whimper until I give in. Kinda like when I’m trying to eat something she wants. (pretty much anything I’m eating) My dogs might be a little bit spoiled…
